can ibs make your abdomen persistently swell?

I'm never not bloated and I'm suspicious of ibs. Because I have uc, gerd, and peptic ulcers, but I am always distended. Any ideas?

I've had UC for 22 years, Gerd for about 6 years....I didn't actually bloat severely until was diagnosed with IBS. My bloat is horrible and it makes me feel terrible.
