Hi folks!
I'm a frequent contributor over on the GERD forum and am new to this one. I've had "tummy troubles" for many years and for the longest time, my GERD issues were the most debilitating. I was diagnosed with IBS many years ago but solving the GERD was a priority.
I had a Nissen Fundoplication in 2013. It was a lifesaver! I had IBS flare-ups here and there but up until the last six months, it had been manageable.
The last few months have been a nightmare of flare-up after flare-up. My GP finally prescribed me Nortriptilyne. This has been working great, other than now I'm constipated here and there. When I forget to take it though, my symptoms come back like wildfire. I know, I know...don't skip a dose dummy!
My question to the hive mind....what have you done to try and help manage your symptoms? Anyone on this medicine also and tolerating it well?
Thanks!
