A new issue. Everytime i drink alchohol I have diarrhea the next day. I am stuck in the house for 1/2 a day. Went out last night. Had two cosmos and 3 times in the bathroom already and still don't feel right yet.
Anybody else have this problem?
Its truly a pain. I am going on vacation in a few weeks and this is going to cause a problem. Its a trip to Italy and I like to have a drink or two with dinner and I cant be stuck in the hotel. We have sightseeing to do.

It depends on what I drink but yes sometimes I get diarrhea after drinking. If you feel the need to have a couple beverages, perhaps take an Imodium before you go out?

Thanks for your reply. I guess that might be a good idea except that the diarrhea starts the next day and I usually prefer to let it run its course but if I am away I can try it.

I have IBS and I drink. Yes, I have diarrhea sometimes, but it isn't caused by my drinking alcoholic beverages. If that is what your thinking. Although some people are allergic to alcohol, and have serious reactions from it. More than likely, it is an ingredient in the particular drink, that makes you sick. Try something else, and see if you suffer from diarrhea from it.
I can just eat a dry cracker, and I have to have to poop.
So it's different for everybody...
