Hi, As you can guess from the title I could do with some help.
A bit of a background:
In September last year I had about a week of terrible diarrhea, nausea, flu like symptoms that was awful and also a gum infection. I had antibiotics for that and felt better about a week later going back to normal.
Then it came back and this was followed by waking up at night choking, heartburn, hard to breathe, stiff neck and fatigue. My dr gave me another round of antibiotics as he wasn't sure what it was but this didn't help. I started omeprazole for a month but felt strange on this and had some weird symptoms. I caught a sinus infection which didn't go so had another set of antibiotics. I still have stomach issues, developed cracked tongue which looks like geographic with white at the back (before it was healthy), developed what feels like tmj, really aching muscles and stiffness and also what feels like LPR silent reflux. I am on ranitidine for a month to see if this helps.
I am so lost at the moment, that I have tried lots of things and on probiotics, aloe juice, silicogel and nothing seems to be improving it. I had endoscopy, stool tests, blood tests, celiac test, ultrasound and also a lymes test as I live on a farm and I am outside a lot. All normal.
Does this sound like a typical IBS? I did wonder about yeast overgrowth or parasites but dr dismissed these as not common and said I could have IBS all along but its become more reactive now.
Any help would be great.
