Hello,
Exactly one month ago I went to urgent care for crippling stomach pain and nausea. One week prior to this I had been having watery diarrhea with no pain or gas. I was sent home with anti-nausea medication. Went to urgent care again for the same thing and was put on meds for an ulcer (PPI). Every blood and stool test imaginable has been run on me and everything comes back negative. I was also screened for celiac and crohns disease, which were negative. Saw a gastroenterologist and she sent me for a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis and the only thing seen was benign liver cysts and a recently ruptured ovarian cyst. I think I might be suffering from IBS. My stool goes from soft to watery in a day. Lots of mucus as well. I have not vomited nor is there blood in my stool. I am in immense pain with nausea after I eat or drink almost anything. Even water hurts. And when I eat or drink, I immediately have to go to the bathroom. Any ideas? I don't have my upper endoscopy until 10/30 and I am getting desperate to feel better. I started taking Ibgard last night and a probiotic specifically for IBS. The pain and nausea is terrible. I don't believe it's an ulcer because I don't believe the ulcer would be causing the bowel issues. Any help is appreciated.
