LOL, Lil, no, actually the guts have generally been maintaining their happy state, and thus so have I!
The volcano has been bubbling/burping for weeks now and just in the past 48 hours really started sparking. Three big eruptions today and the ash cloud is traveling east over the Kenai Peninsula, which is a couple hours south of Anchorage. The volcano could still spew some more, and depending on the winds the ash could travel this way. The main worry about our active volcanoes is that they when they erupt they can trigger tsunamis, but that's not a major threat at the moment.
Will keep you updated on the ashfall. I think it will be more of a curiosity than a real threat; I've never seen the effects of an erupted volcano!
