I have used the Digesterol product as suggested for IBS (which I have suffered with for 20 or more years off/on). I really had increased troubles again in the past 4 years and was creating great anxiety and lifestyle changes (social isolation) and was getting desperate and trying everything from the "white diet" to not eating when I knew I'd be in "situations" I couldn't control, saw doctors who put me on something that didn't do a thing, tried probiotic pearls (which gave me profuse D after 3 days), yogurt even though I'm lactose intolerant (bad idea!) and to no avail, I grasped at straws and pout in my order for Digesterol, which stated you really needed to take for 6 months to see success. I see for some, it was the magic pill. Not for me. 6 months later, no different than before. Wish I could say, "mission accomplished", but hardly.
My biggest embarrassment is the foul, horrible gas I experience and stomach cramps. It can come on at any time, even if I have had nothing to eat. After reading some of these messages, it sounds like I may have a bad bacteria problem but, other than probiotics (which cause me D and can cause gas...which I sure don't need more of!) and yogurt which dairy is a problem for me...I am literally exhausted ideas! Anybody have a clue for me? I know it was not Digesterol and some $150. later. Sorry.
