I know that so much of this is hard to write about, but I haven't seen questions like these yet, and I hesitate to pursue the answers, but I am certain someone here may have information on one of them. Thanks in advance for reading.
1. I was told it is not "medically possible" to urinate while defecating. Well, one of my little "cures" to fixing a less severe bout of C is to drink a lot of fluids and not relieve myself instantly... and sometimes this works to make me feel the urge for a BM. Is this weird? Because it has worked for the last few years on many occasions, and often the two methods of excretions happen at the same time for me, even when I don't do it on purpose. I can only imagine what someone might think of this.
2. I had 3 doses of the Hep B vaccination, as my job requires. The test came back to say my antigen (or antibody? I forget...) level was low and so I need another booster shot and the same test to see if I am now immune... now my questions are that 1- could IBS be at all linked to a deficiency in my liver... or 2- could my problems be liver-related as opposed to the original IBS dx?
3. I feel like I constantly have a UTI. Before I was dx'd with IBS, I had several UTI/kidney infections within a year or two... and I feel like I have it again. Urine is cloudy, waking up 3-5 times a night to urinate, pain in the RLQ and under my ribs on the right side... These problems are the reason I was given a laparoscopy in the first place only to find adhesions on my cecum which eventually led to the dx I have now... does anyone else have UT problems? I'm drinking cranberry juice again, as I am so tired of being in a clinic/hospital getting test after test... ever just break down a little with the thoughts of "if I'm really to blame for my physical problems why do these things take me by surprise so often?" and "No one can be this sick all the time with different things and not have a real underlying problem... and since I'm told I don't, I don't want to waste anyone elses' time on fixing me... even though I know the UA would come back positive for white blood cells."
Well, along with asking some questions, I guess I needed to vent a little... I thank all who have any answers to my questions, and hope everyone who reads this is doing as well as possible.
