It's been a while since I've posted anything - things have been hectic since before spring break, and they're just getting busier and busier. between wedding stuff and graduation and trying to find a job, my life is crazy...
onto my question. my symptoms have gotten significantly better lately, especially in the last two weeks, to where i'm having little to no symptoms whatsoever! I'm still mildly gassy occasionally, and still somewhat constipated sometimes (but that's been there my whole life), but there's been no nausea, no reflux that i can tell, no pain in my abdomen, normal bowel sounds, no strange gurgles ... i've even eaten my trigger foods (milk products/red meat) with no trouble at all! Is this normal? Has anyone else had a somewhat extended period of relief from symptoms? And ... dare I even ask ... can IBS actually get better? I mean, I've had a very mild case to begin with, nothing like a lot of you on here have. Rarely debilitating, rarely affected my day-to-day life, just annoying and determined what i eat and don't eat. But is this possible? Should I expect for everything to come roaring back tomorrow? I'm really excited, because I ate a hamburger for the first time in ages, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high that it's going to stay gone forever.
Any ideas, anyone?
