burning sensation

hello,

I have this burning sensation on my upper left side and goes across my upper right side....I am fearly new at healingwell....I am going to see a GI dr on my 15. my other symptom( sorry to be so descriptive) I have ribbon like stool. do any of you have those symptoms

Hi megamax, I think its great that you are going to get it checked out. GI pain is too tricky because it is so common for the pain to migrate. The pain might be in one area but the problem may be in another. Ribbon like stools can also be caused by a lot of different things from hemmroids to Crohn's disease. I would make a list of all your symptoms from now until your appt in case you forget when you get to the office. If your like me, you get "white coat" amnesia.
