Just wondering what your thoughts are about it?  I just got it out of the library!

My primary MD (and probably the GI guy) seem to be leaning their thoughts that I have IBS, and I want to be prepared to talk w/ the GI guy after I have my colonoscopy/endoscopy on Friday (11/16). 

I know I won't be talking with the GI Guy friday---but, if they think I have IBS----I want to be prepared!  Any other good books on the subject? Thanks!

I haven't read that book, but knowledge is power!  I really hope they can see what's going on and give you some clear answers.

We can be scope buddies, I also go in for one tomorrow on both ends!

You're on Sarita! good luck with your scopes too! So far, the book is interesting---------;) Good luck with the "cleansing"!

So far---I like this book------very interesting.....

Sarita----how were your scopes? I hope they went OK for you! Mine were supposed "normal" on ALL fronts! So, the GI is saying, IBS-------so, now I will be here on this forum---asking 1,000+ questions (b/c I am like that)! ;)

Good for you for getting through your scopes relatively unscathed!


Mine were boring, I thought I'd never wake up and once I dragged my sorry arse out of the hospital it took 2 more days to get over the Demerol haze!  I haven't gotten any results yet, so we'll see...they only did 2 biopsies on yours, eh?

yeah, just 2 biopsies----"just because"---he said he really didn't see anything--but, b/c he was doing the procedure---he did 2---one in the colon, one in the upper GI! I got home from the procedure and slept from 3 p.m. until 8 a.m. the next day---then, Saturday---I was groggy all day! Got out of doing the house work! hehe!
