I have Parkinsons which may, or may not relate to this condition.
Often after urinating I have a slow dribble or urine...that is I cannot completely void at the toilet....to this end I now use pads.
Also, on occasions I have an urgent need to wee and cannot hold it...I have had no magor accidents yet.
Has anybody gor similar or any ideas.

Hey Port Mac!! I am not familuar with this but somethign that came to my mind was a possible urethra blockage? That has several of the same symptoms listed? Do you have any pain around your bladder area?

Since I am not sure if you are male or female...have you had your prostate checked for a possible inlarged prostate? Those are just a few things I can think of!!

Hope it helps a bit adn I deffinatly would let your doctor know what you are experinceing if you haven't already done so

I am a male aged 56 and I have just seen my doctor....he checked my postate (per rectal) and it was totally flat. He is sending me to a urologist and thinks there might be a stricture (not sure of speelling) or it could be Parkinsons Disease. I did have the postate blood test a year ago and it was good.
I do get pain around the bladder area and rectal area....I have been slower to have an errection which is unheard of for me and I have been experiencing pain on errection.

Fortunately we are well connected and I got an appointment with a top urologist...it only took a few days. He thinks that my problem is due to Parkinsons Disease and he rattled off a number of symptoms that sounded just like me....The doc looked at xrays I had from 2006 and said my bladder had very thick walls and that was typical of Parkinsons. I have some urine teast and blood test s to do and also a bladder dynamics test in a couple of weeks
The bladder dynamics test invoves putting a catheter up my penis into my bladder and another probe up my rectum ...all with a full bladder...it is suppose to be a horrible test and of course very invasive. Ladies and gentlemen that is not all...the specialist nurse doing the test is a friend of my wife! The other side of being well connected!

Next problem with urinary dribble and frequency....it is very embarrasing and shameful.
How do people cope in such situations??????

A few days ago I attended the urologist for a bladder dynamics test. The nurse conducting it was a friend of my wife!!!!
I had to start off by weeing into the thing that was like a petrol funnel whist she watched and read some sort of machine that was measuring the flow. Next came the catheter up my penis...it was so painful...she then got the doctor in who gave it a go too. He said there was an obstruction and would not try any further....I go into hospital in a few days for a cysoscopy and an IV exray of both kidneys etc also the doc said there were a few atypical cells in my urine analysis.
The urologist that I am seeing is a very top urologist and a good man according to my contacts from up on high but does not say much so he leaves one wondering!

I have had my tests and results back...there is a bladder obstruction which will be treated by medications....the doctor does not know if it will work or not. The atypical cells are coming from my right kidney, however, the x ray is a very clear one and there a re problems to be seen. Irrespective the doctor said this right kidney will have to be watched to see if a cancer becomes evident.
Anyway I am learning to manage and now finding the pads no problem.
