Cramping pain

I have recently been noticing that I have a cramping pain in my back on both sides sometimes up where my kidneys are and sometimes lower in the back and am also noticing the cramping in the front of my torso as well near the bottom of the ribs, it doesnt feel like ribs, it feels internal if that makes any sense. SOmeone suggested possibly a kidney problem so I took a urine test and there was no indication of protein or anything in my urine. It is not unbearable but annoying and concerning. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what it is?

I feel pain in my back where my kidneys are alot lately. I have had a history of kidney stones and have several in each kidney now. They tell me they are small and may pass on there own. I feel like a ticking time bomb knowing how much pain these things are. At times the pain is under my rib cage but mostly on the left side. They did a urine test to but they say it looks fine. It is frustrating feeling like this. It's almost as if they don't believe what you say at times. Have you found out anything new since your last post? How are you feeling now?
