24-hour urine collection came back abnormal...

So the phone rang yesterday and I answered to voice of my nephrologist. Now, my nephrologist, like so many doctors, tells me he'll call if something comes back abnormal. He's never called...until yesterday.

I have high levels of protein, very high levels of uric acid and my sodium levels are off the charts!

He wants me to change my diet, but leave my meds the way they are for now. I'm also supposed to ask my rheumatologist if I can take this other med. It's alo---something or another. (I can't remember. Having issues with my brain functioning today, hehe.)

Has anyone else had to deal with this? What was the result? My doc is trying to figure out what could be causing this. He keeps telling me if I want, he can do an ultrasound. Um, I think you're awesome and all, I typically love your laid back attitude, but right now, I need you to tell me what to do...not ask if I want tests run.

Any info would be great!

have you been diagnosed with Kidney disease, have you had a kidney biopsy? What meds are you on now?
