Where is kidney pain located and how does it feel?

I have pains in my back at the lower end of my ribcage/ under the ribcage area. I also have pinching in my sides, the pains are on both sides but not always at the same time, I seem to be having a harder time with the right side lately.

It's achy and stabbing.

Where do you feel kidney pain? How does it 'hurt'? And does my pain seem kidney to you?

Hi - Just wondering how you're doing? I hope good. I have similar pains as you do. Especially when lying down or driving. Plus some bowel issues. Dr just found blood in urine (invisible). I'm going to a Urologist tomorrow. Any info is appreciated.
