I'm 24 years old with stage 3 CKD.
It's not often you hear someone my age say something like that, and that makes this disease that much harder to accept and deal with. I know, I know, I feel like i'm throwing myself a pity party but I don't think there is another way I can honestly wrap my head around this disease.
Are there any people out there dealing with this condition that has gotten over the initial stages of guilt and moved on to acceptance?
What are the best ways you guys stay positive and continue the relationships around you?
Are there any of you around my age who is able to offer advice on feeling alone?
Thanks
