What is Adrenal Adenoma and Adrenal Washout

I am a medical student and i was collecting some calculators related to medical and health.. So that it will help me out whenever i stuck out anywhere.

The easycalculation site helped me a lot for most of the calculators.

There was one calculator named as Adrenal Washout Calculator (https://www.easycalculation.com/medical/adrenal-washout-calculator.php) I know that adrenal are type of glands. But is does it mean by adrenal washout????? It is mentioned as a type of tumour...Is it so???

If so, what we are washing out ???

Kindly help me...

HI I am not a doctor but I do have an adrenal lesion that has had some changes recently. The doctor's at first wanted to do a wash out and I asked what that meant, I was told they needed to measure the true density of the tumor and had to get rid of any contrast material "from all the other scans"to show the true density. Now they have decided against that and I will be going into surgery soon to have it removed. Sorry I couldn't give any real medical explanation but this is my understanding of what it is first hand.
