Flomax

My DH is T1 Diabetic, he has had Kidney stones in the past, plus other health issues. The other night he complained of pain in his back, knew it was a stone. We went to ER, CT scan showed it was stone. The ER dr gave him some RX and sent us home. I filled the RXs for Flomax, Percocet and Reglan. He has taken the Flomax and gets a terrible pain in the kidney area and starts to vomit. I didn't see that listed as possible side effect of the Flomax, but each time he takes that med that is what happens. He has taken the Reglan to help w/ the nausea and vomiting, but it can go on for awhile.

Does anyone else have this reaction w/ Flomax? He doesn't want to spend another DAY in the ER, it just takes forever to get seen in there.

Thank you so much for responding. The pain and vomiting got so bad, he had to relent and go back to the ER. They rushed him into the room and started testing. He had passed a tiny potion of the stone at home the other day, but there is still a piece in there and they are going in today. Since he is on certain meds, they don't want to 'blast' the stone, and possibly cause bleeding.  They will probably put in a stent.

The dr did take him off the Flomax and changed his pain meds, too.
