My son is 47 and has always been healthy; however the following has happened:
After taking typhoid shots to go out of the country in 12/2012, he saw blood in his urine for the first time and in 1/2013 also to go out of the county he took the shots again and he same thing happened. So to make this short he went to Mexico in January 2014 and while he was down there he saw blood for the third time and went to see a doctor who performed a CT scan and advised him that he had a growth in his kidney and it needed to come out. Well, we finally got the complete kidney removed last Wednesday and he was dismissed from the hospital on Thursday and is healing really well. The doctor said that he did not have to remove any of the lymph nodes; however, he would not know about any kind of treatment until after the pathology report gets back to see the size of the (he called it cancer once and mass a few times). I have looked at all information available and cannot seem to understand that if this is cancel and the lymph nodes did not have to be removed--is the doctor thinking that perhaps the cancer was not contained in the kidney. Any information anyone has would be appreciated and please pray for us.
