I have not been diagnosed with anything so I'm not sure where to post this question but maybe someone can help.
I have struggled with stomach problems this year - h pylori stomach infection, heart burn and acid reflux which I'm on medicine for, had ultrasounds, X-rays, endoscopy and colonoscopy but nothing I was found. I was having chronic pain on my right side around my rib but my dr thinks it may be a pulled muscle I keep straining and to go to pysio.
I am 28 years old, 4'11' and about 93 lbs. I do not suffer from any menstrual issues- period is always on time, I see discharge when I ovulate, my periods aren't heavy or light or too long, very predictable, I usually get cramps the first day but then I'll take tylenol and they're gone. The last period I skipped was almost 6 years ago.
A little over a week ago, after my period finished, I started getting lower cramping.. In the middle of the pelvic area. The cramping felt like period cramps and was getting worse every day. I wasn't constipated or anything. I was experiencing more bloating though, especially in the pelvic region. The pain stayed in the middle and would come and go during the day but started traveling more towards the left side. I noticed I had o pee more often and that it was slightly burning, so I thought I might have a Urinary tract infection. I had one last year and also one at the end of September. I took macrobid. I took a urine sample on Friday but results didn't come back yet to determine if I have a UTI. I told him of the pelvic pain and he said to go for a pelvic ultrasound, which I did on Saturday. He also prescribed me an antibiotic because he said it sounds like a UTI so I've been taking macrobid for the last few days. When I went for the ultrasound the tech pushed really, really hard, to the point where I was in tears. She was pressing more on the left. After the ultrasound I came home with actual bone pain - oh my pelvic bone, it radiates up to my left hip bone. It is excruciating pain. I'm not sure if this pain is from the ultrasound tech, maybe because I'm so small, or if it's related to the reason I'm having this pain. Im not really experiencing pain on my right.
Whenever I've had UTIs in the past I'd feel bloating but never this period like cramping. Could all this pelvic pain be from the UTI? Maybe it's causing inflammation? I should get results back from the ultrasound tomorrow. I'm very scared because I'm 28 and don't have children yet.
