In April had an incidental finding of a Complex renal Cyst 6.5cm x 6.9cm x 4.5cm
Referred to Urologist... Categorizes it as 2F. I was good with that as there were septations and mild thickening of calcification's but no enhancement.
Just had 3 month follow up and the cyst has grown by a centimeter and the Radiologist singled out a Nephrographic (sic) slide for the Urologist that there is Enhancement, and specifically mentions thickened septations being enhanced. The septation is about 5mm thick. Nonenhanced Hounsfield Units are: 16.6 Enhanced Hounsfield Units are: 31.34
My question is should I have this CT evaluated by my Urologist and then, perhaps a second? From everything I have been able to find, enhancement in a lesion this size that is multiloculated isn't good.
