Hi Suzanne!
I'm still around, doing more "lurking" than posting, but was just reading about you thinking about getting pregnant--how exciting for you! I wish you the best of luck and pray things turn out the way you hope for. I'm doing very well, labs are good, meds are being tolerated, working my regular hours at the hospital plus more when people go on vacations, etc. My 24 yr old daughter just moved back home, she had been engaged and living with her fiance's family for the past 5 yrs and just found out he was stepping out on her, she's being very strong, but hurting quite a bit. She's working full time and going to school at night, so since the community college is just down the street from me we're room mates again--it's actually kind of fun! Other news, my son is going to make me a grandma! I'm so excited, they're due in May, this will be my first grandchild.
As far as my pregnancies, I noticed you were asking about people getting pregnant with lupus. I hadn't been diagnosed yet when I had my kids, I think I was just beginning to start having some minor symptoms, I had Caleb when I was 25 and Rachel when I was 27. Was spilling small amounts of protein at the time, but they thought it was maybe pregnancy related. Then by the time I was 30, was spilling tons. So, I had no pregnancy problems--although, they're still not diagnosing me with lupus, it's some "lupus-like" auto immune disease. Whatever!
Again, you're in my thoughts, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
I hope everyone had wonderful holidays, I think of you all often!
Lori
