I haven't posted in some time. I've been having even more problems popping up. I was in the hospital on Christmas and 2 days afterwards, because I started to have numbness and nueropathy pain and tingylness on the right side of my body really bad. I was supposed to have an MRI done, and a spinal tap but of course they couldn't do it on Christmas Day, so I had to wait.. they got me mixed up with someone else, ended up giving me the wrong meds at one point. It was a mess, none the less.. they believe that I'm having mini-strokes. Has anyone else had to deal with this? I can't feel my right leg at all really, aside from pressure.. I can however feel the RA in my hip, still. It's really starting to worry me. I go back to the rheumy on Thurs, but now I have to come up with the money to go to a neurologist.. fun fun.
If anyone has ever had problems like that, I'd appreciate feed-back, and advice.

(((((((((Rebecca))))))))) So sorry you were in the hospital for Christmas sis! Sounds like you had a real time with the meds and all. Darned . . . I'm sorry you still get the pain in your hip but nothing else. Sounds very frustrating and scary. I hope the neuro can shed more light on things. Oh the cost!! So sorry you have so much to be worried about . I hope you find some resources for that. Medicaid??? Some hot tea for you!! Blessings!

Rebecca, I'm so sorry about what you are going through and about the mess at the hospital. There are people here who have had mini strokes, so hopefully they will be along soon to give you some info. All of this must be pretty scary for you. I really hope the docs can figure some of this out soon and that they are able to help. Thank you for taking the time to update us with everything you have going on. Hang in there and take care.

I'm getting so frustrated with things, it's not even funny. I don't qaulify for medicaid, and I'm working on the disability but I'm sure most of you know how that goes. No telling how long that is going to take.
I'm only 25 years old so I didn't even think about having any type of stroke...but apparently my CNS is really messed up, between the seizures that have gotten worse, and all that.
And I wouldn't wish being in the hospital on Christmas on anyone, my family was there though. Which I'm really thankful for.
They ended up giving me wrong medications, they gave me diladid which I was supposed to have, twice as much ativan as I was supposed to have, the wrong BP meds, and an ambien to sleep.. I ended up not being able to remember much of anything.. and my mother said my bp got down to 90/40.
Hopefully I'll get some answers soon.
