Yeah I have a middle toe that looks like that. It doesnt bother me. what does bother is they tingle alot, need to get on another nerve med soon, to help stop the tinglies
I know what you mean though, its like something new every day, what wasnt there yesterday is there today, youre like what going on, I didnt have that yesterday, so whats up?
I would ask dr about see what they say, there may be some root damage to the nail bad, thats what i suspect in mine, and it will just keep growng that way, and as long as it doenst bother me, Im just gonna let it go.
What is bothering that didnt have 2 weeks ago is a forehead twictch, its annoying, no pain, just anoying, ok, so it went away, and has traveled to my left eyebrow, which is now twitchng constantly. whats up with that!!
I never been a face twitcher, and hand twticher, but not a face twitcher. I wish the new symptoms of I dont know what would go away!!!!!!!!! 
Good luck with your toes, if it doesnt hurt I wouldnt be too worried, but just to be safe re ask doctor, i did notice after re-reading, you showed dr, and they said nothing. You want them to say something, like its fine, or dont worrry about it, or lets check it out, but they say nothing its so da****d annoying. Doctors!!
