I've posted before that I've been having breathing problems. At about
3am Monday it started in again, this time though it caused alot of chest tightness and pains under my ribs when I took in a breath. I was told back in 94 that I had asthme and given an inhaler to use as needed. It turned out I only needed it if I got a bad cold. about
a yr ago is when it changed, since I've been using it 4-5 times a day and it doesn't seem to help for long. I tryed my inhaler on Monday and it didin't work at all. So, at 3:00 pm I went to the er. They gave me a breathing treatment and it helped for a second and then I felt like I couldn't breathe again. My o2 level was fine though, thats whats wierd. I felt as though I just couldn't get enough air in even though my o2 level was fine. Then the dr ran some tests an dtold me it could be inflammation in my lungs.
He put me on prednizone for 5 days to see if it would help. I took one last night when I got home and i could actually breathe good for the first time in so long. Then today i woke up and actually felt good for once. I showed him the hair I lost since I had been there on my pillow he told me just to tell the rhumy when i see her. He felt it all could be auto immune related. I have not been dx yet. Have any of you ever had that feeling like you just couldn't get enough air in, almost like your lungs aren't expanding enough? hopefully I'll get answers soon.
