I get the mouth sores you describe too. also I get the sores in my mouth and in my nose on a regular basis. i never associated them with Lupus until recently when the rhemutologist asked me about them. and I have trouble swallowing. Never considered that to be part of lupus either.
I use peroxide inside my mouth, and use a qtip to apply it to my outside mouth sores, and in my nose. It stings, but it works for me.
Only one sore left in my mouth today and it is nearly gone. If things happen as they have in the past, they will be back shortly. I think mine may stay around longer because I have false teeth. and the false teeth move, and when I bite down it keeps the sores irritated. I have had these sores on and inside my mouth and nose for a very long time.
Thanks for the information. More symptoms to write down in my log of symptoms to take to the rheumy the next time I see him.
