Numb fingers and thumbs

I have fibro and Lupus , Lyrica is controlling the fibro well , its amazing !!!!!! But the Lupus ,the doctor wants me to go down to 5 mg of prednisone but as soon as i get to 5 symptoms show up .Pain and now numb fingers and thumbs is this serious ,well as serious as thumbs and fingers can be lol.

Just started with the rheumy doc. She wants me on 5 every second day ,mostly because I have osteo arthritis too. I feel awesome on 20 lol but have tapered down slowly I'm down to 5 a day this week , last week was on 10 on day 5 the next , felt better last week .
Fibro is fine like I said , don't know what pain is the osteo arthritis its been all tangled up with fibro for years didn't know i had it .
The Lupus symptoms are the most bothersome ,mine are more muscle related , inflamed and throbbing muscles, headaches , low grade fever ,I have the mask its bad at the moment ,just a general feeling of yuck .
I was feeling well, great actually until I went down to 5 mg. this week . I have been overdoing it because I have felt so good, going mad on the neglected house.

Do your fingers get cold and turn white, blue or purple?

If so your problem could be raynauds phenomenon which is commom with lupus and other AI diseases?  It could also just be an inflammatory process.  I had that initially but it went away after a while.
