Saw my pcp today. He had test results from yesterday in regards to my liver enzyme numbers.  Everything is totally normal. I mean totally normal!  I'm on Imuran, which automatically raises those numbers, and yet, I'm normal!!  Go figure.  So he thought my poop issues were a one time thing where maybe my gut was a bit upset, etc.  Everything is normal with the color, etc of my BMs now.  So it's not my liver or anything to worry about at all. I'm in great shape.  I can even taper down on my prednisone again.  My sed rate was 12!  So down to 7mg now. I haven't been there in years!

Yes, as far as my lupus goes, I'm in great shape.  But my Fibro is driving me mad.  So is the constant changes in weather.  The barometer messes with me big time.  Constant headaches.

 

But yes, the Lupus issue is a non issue right now!  Praise the Lord!

Ginny, have you tried either decongestants or blood pressure meds for the headaches?They really helped me. I don't get the killer migraines since I started propanalol, but when I feel the pressure building I take a decongestant and a lortab and it goes away. Glad things are looking better in the Lupus area at least.

Hi Jennifer,

 

Interesting that you'd ask that!  my doctor's nurse told me I could probably try decongestants as they shouldn't interfere with my meds.  But I forgot to ask my doctor about it at the appointment. DUH!  So I'm going touch base with him and see if that would be a good option.

 

I'm on Cozaar for my blood pressure.  I'm borderline hypertensive, but with the bp med I'm normal.  Not sure if I can add another one to my regime.

 

Thank you for the suggestions!  I'll look into them for sure!
