Flat Chested again tomorrow...

well, not exactly flat, but definatally different.

I am the woman who is sure that all of my autoimmune issues are caused by breast implants and am willing to go to this extreme to test the theory. I have surgery tomorrow. PS my insurance company agrees with me and is covering the cost. The received all the supporting blood results and approved the surgery with 'significant evidence'. 3.5 hours, or repair and reconstruction.

My doctor ordered all new blood test a couple days ago so we can have a bench mark to test against. The numbers are pretty high still and I will be tested again in 3 months.  

I am pretty nervous, wondering how I will look, how I will feel, and wondering if I am going through all this pain and suffereing for no changes.

Its got to be this.. it just has too....!!!!

Kudos to you for undergoing this surgery. You're the perfect example of someone who takes responsibility for their own health. Please keep us up to date because we'll be anxious to hear that your health is improving. My fingers are crossed!

Nancy! Wow, I really hope you are right and having this will fix your health! Please let us know how it turns out and you will deffianlty be in my prayers!!!I am also so happy that your insurance is covering the surgery for you, i know that has got to be a huge relief!

Thanks. I do understand there are men on this board. I hope i am not making anyone unconfortable.  All day I have been 'looking at the ladies' with remorse and sadness. Anyone have any last words I should be giving my plastic surgeon?? Any threats you can think of?? ( just kidding) Maybe not kidding so much.

I will let you know how I do and how things turn out.

I really am hoping for the best.

I'll be sending you good thoughts and prayers tomorrow too.  Don't worry about making any of our men feel uncomfortable.  You aren't! They're a solid, understanding bunch :)

 

I think you're doing the right thing by taking them out.  You might have just nailed the problem!

 

When you're well enough, We'd love to hear from you and hear how it all went.
