nausea

I am having a bad time with nausea from my meds again. I am taking compazine and it isn't working anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know we all face this from time to time. I just hate nausea and prefer to not have it at all.

I think I solved the nausea issue, I ran out of nexium a couple weeks ago and didn't realize it.

Have you tried Zofran? Its normally given with Chemo...I am currently taking it and it helps greatly!!!

There is always Phenergen, also taking meds at night may help a little. I hope you feel better soon!

I keep crackers by my bed. and a little sprite. My new BP meds make me sick and I have to take them 3 times a day. I know what you mean about not realizing it. Sometimes we are on so many meds that if you pitch an empty bottle you don't even notice. The last time I did that was my spiriva. I only realized it because I saw a commercial!

Hi Redrose,

If there is anything that is difficult to deal with it is nausea. Oh my coupled with pain and other issues it plain sucks. I was on Zofran but they give me issues, Medicare. LOL so my rheumie put me on Tigan. You have to take it more often, but honestly it works great and comes in generic. I hope you find relief soon.
