 When I went to the rheumy last he said he doesn't think I have lupus so he said no need to come back untill I have more symptoms. He said just go see my regular Doctor. Well I am getting worse and finding it hard to function much at all. I just saw him a month and a half ago. Should I go complain somore? I feel like I am waisting my time but I can't live like this much longer.shakehead

Can you see another rheumatologist to get a second opinion?

I'm in (almost) the same boat...my rheumy dx me with lupus in October then told me in December I don't have lupus! (?!?)

Anyway, he would probably kick me out too except that I also have fibro and RA, so he still has stuff to treat me for.

I'm planning to see another rheumy for a second opinion....I have an appt at the end of March (she's hard to get an appt with). This rheumy is supposed to be more lupus-oriented (my current doc is more fibro-oriented).

For your own benefit and sanity ask for a second, third or more opinions until you can find someone to help you.

I will see what I can do. Maybe I should give him one more chance since now I have more symptoms. We only have 12 rheumy's in the state so I'm betting it may be difficult finding another. Thanks so much for your advise.

I am so sorry your rheumy choices are so limitied. Don't you have a teaching hospital you could try?
