confused  Hi, Brittanee.

I received your labs from 5/15/10 and everything looks good, although your urine dipstick had some protein. When quantified, this was normal, but it is important that we repeat it right away - and that your OB knows. I will have my office send you a new slip, but I would also like for you to see your OB and have them repeat the test too.

I go see my OB tomorrow so I am going to talk to them about it and see what my bp and urine reveal this time. Anyone else had this happen?

Well I will post again after my appointment today. They'll check my urine, bp, the baby's heartrate etc.

Sorry girl! I do not have any experience with pregnancy!! I hope someone will come along who has experienced pregnancy and Lupus together!!!

I spilled a small amount of protein a couple of times during my last pregnancy and my bp was elivated but checking my liver showed I didn't have preeclampsia and my kidney blood work was fine. We never did figure out the cause and it only happened twice a couple months apart. I really hope all is well. Let us know somehow.

Hey Britt! So sorry to hear of this. I have no idea what it means but just wanted to offer you some support. That's a lot on your plate especially being pregnant. I can't imagine. I have enough trouble just dealing with Lupus and a slew of other illnesses at 55! Stay strong and God bless.

Ok so I went to my appt yesterday...I had trace amounts of protein and leukocytes in my urine and it was a little cloudy. I am waiting to hear back from my rheumy as I wrote to her about everything that happened at my appt. My throat has also been hurting the past 3 days and it feels like a lump when I swallow. Its also tender on the outside where my lymph nodes are....after walking today a lot my knees are killing me and are puffy..I haven't had any lupus type involvement in a while with the pregnancy so Im wondering if I'm heading for a flare or what. Hope everyone is well. -Lupie Britt
