Since this post is about
Acetaminophen, I wanted to mention the gathering evidence that there is a link between Acetaminophen and asthma, and other lung conditions - especially in children and teenagers - but it holds for adults as well. This has been in the news recently, and my mother alert
ed me to it. When I googled it it seems it's been suspected since the 90's and further studies are bearing it out. Although the exact link is still uncertain.
My mother has a blood disorder that prevents her taking aspirin/ibuprophin. She's been taking Tylenol for decades for her arthritis. She's also been coughing for decades - cause undetermined - although she's been diagnosed with everything from GERD to asthma and COPD as the reason, and then UNdiagnosed. She's 85 now and sleeps with oxygen. Wondering if there could be a connection......
Anyone taking it regularly should do some research or talk to their doctors.....
