I've been getting mouth ulcers since I was a child. Irritated red patches in my mouth or on my tongue with a white spot in the middle. Now that I've been diagnosed, I just wondered more about
them.
Right now I'm in the middle of what I'm guessing is a flare and possibly a big virus (its been over a month now and 2 antibiotics that haven't worked). I also have gotten thrush a lot but that's usually only on the roof of my mouth.
Right now I have about 10 ulcers on the insides of my cheeks and gums and tongue. There's also bright red bumps on the back of my throat. My main question is, from everything I've read about lupus, it says mouth and nose ulcers/sores are common but painless....well these suckers hurt a lot! I mean I can definitely deal but there's nothing painless about them. Do any of you get these and is it the same or something different then a typical "lupus ulcer/sore"?
Thanks a bunch
