Doc now thinks I may be having a problem with my thyroid. Anyone know if this is Lupus related or something by itself.? Lupus brings so much, it's hard to draw a line anywhere. Thanks for any help. You are all in my prayers. XOXOX

you could be developing an autoimmune condition that attacks the thyroid can't recall the name of it but I don't know that lupus itself specifically attacks the thyroid.

It could be hashimoto's thyroiditis or Grave's disease. I believe they are both types of auto immune thyroid disease. Hashimoto's causes low thyroid and I believe Graves causes it to go low and high.

Good luck with it. Auto-immune diseases often run together, if you get one, I think you are more likely to get another... Ugh! I know I have more than one!!!
