Hello, I am a new member as of today. I am married, have 2 grown children, 2 lovely cats, and am a retired RN. I was diagnosed with lupus and Sjogren's Syndrome a year ago. I did not want to retire, however, it was becoming difficult with frequent illness, and the exhaustion. My physician was advising me for a few months, and when I finally did retire, I was grateful to get the rest. It is wonderful to be able to compare notes with all of you. Lupus is a vexing, complicated disease, however we get comfort, humor, and friendship at this site. I too, have the problem of lupus fog. I have come up with similar ways to deal with this problem. My physician gave me words of encouragement..........you have lupus, lupus doesn't have you. I am glad to "meet" all of you.
