Hello

I have darks lines running down finger nails, eyes ridges also in finger nails feet very tender and peeling under the bottom hurt to walk and put on shoes or slipper can any one help me I go too dr. Monday.

The medication I take is gentric hydroxychlor(plaquenil) 200mg twice daily been on this for over 18 years and cyclophosph 25mg twice daily been on this for six months. Thank you  for any help or any question I can ask the dr. more minds are better than one idea

I think that you should go on web md and look up lupus and dark nails as I did and go under what your nails can tell you about your health.  It is very important that you get in to see your Dr.  Hope you were able to get in Mon.

Thank you, I will go to webmd and look up my nails. I am trying to get a early appointment  instead of Monday sometime it hard to change an appointment. Thank you again

You should get your Vitamin levels checked about the dark lines running down them! Also, with the ridges, I remember reading something back a few years ago meaning that you are prone to develop arthritis. But the ridges are generally nothing to be too concerned about! But I am definatly not a doctor and when you do see them, please let us know what he/she says!!!

Hello Tykebaby, I had that problem also. Mine was thin dark lines in mine, I can't remember what the doctor called them blood vessels or something that had todo with that were rupturing under the nails. Shortly after that i developed acute vascullitis so I don't know if that was a part of that or not. I would definately show it to your doctor. Let us know what he says. Lots of luck! and God bless!
