LUPUS RASH

Hi intrested in any variations on the "Lupus Rash" eg the face can it be a sun blush rosie cheek look ,Not Raised that occurs when exposed to sun or if about to have a flare or ill but dose not last long

 then the raised Rash how often could you expect it would it be all time or only once or twice eg i had an all over tummy rash for about 3-4 weeks but have not had one like that since.i do realize each person differs but it could be just that differance that may help any info please as trying to pin it down.

I have had odd symptoms for yrs-to be brief, 3 yrs ago started to get odd neuropathy (stinging pains mainly in hands and feet, random numbness in fingers, muscle twitching all over), then started to get splinter hemmoraghes under nails, also have had livedo reticularous rashes from being in hot sun a couple times. Also painful bumps on scalp. Finally also have horizontal lines on all finger nails, they look like rows of deep waves. The most scary is that I have had mild pancreatitis flares on and off for 2 yrs. Scary because my dad died of panc cancer so now I am monitored- I actually go in for a scan next wk and very nervous.

The past few days have been warm and I have been sitting outside and walking my dog though not sitting in the sun. After the first day I got little red blister/bumps all over my hands, and some on my chest (Some have broken open)  they look like zits. Also, yesterday had scratch like marks on both arms, with the skin flaky over them just as though they were fresh scratches (which they werent). The scrathches are gone but bumps still there. Looks like chicken pox or something. Does this sound like a familiar rash associated with lupus? What about any of the other things such as the splinter hem under nails, and horizontal lines?

NOTE-alll tests so far for lupus totally fine. However, rheum did think I had limited sclerederma but she dx that without labs and I actually never got the labs.

During the past year, I've gotten rashes starting from under my chin, down my chest & stomach, back, and arms. They start out as a raised red spot, then the red area grows, then the center lightens, leaving me with a raised, prominent red ring. These red circular borders end up varying in size, usually starting out small then growing up to about 3" diameter. I look like a leopard. It actually resembles, shoot, I can't think of the name of it because I have memory issues now too. It's on the tip of my tongue, caused by moisture, and is contageous and you can spread it to your animals too. Oh, ring worm. That's it! I think it's a less common form of lupus rash. When I went to the specialist's, the student/interns came crawling out of the woodwork to see it and they were taking pictures and trying to guess what I had. I felt like I was a character on a tv show, lol. I've also gotten rashes on my thighs, purple lacy ones, but biopsies were inconclusive for purpura. The bulls-eye rash went away when they upped my prednizone from 20 to 60 mgs. per day. After a week I was slowly weened down to 20 mgs. a day again. It came back twice but went away except for a few spots that took months to fade.

A malar rash can be caused by sunlight or UV exposure. It takes a butterfly shape across your nose and cheeks. I was shocked to find all this out, how is it not simply a sunburn? I think it's because it doesn't affect your entire face, and the sun just triggers that area. I avoid sun, I did tanning beds one month and developed this rash, never thought nothing of it, I didn't know this type of rash can come and go, or be brought on by sun exposure. It is supposed to be flat. It can be light or dark in color.
