Winter sun

Do you find that you can tolerate more sunlight in the winter? My sun sensitivity seems to be much less right now. I saw the UV index is 4 now versus 10.

I haven't noticed yet. Anything above 3 bothers me. If it's twilight I'll for-go the covers and sun screen.

I haven't noticed any difference. Of course, I live in Florida, so maybe it doesn't count!

I alternate between UPF 50 clothing, sun umbrellas, and sunscreen, depending on the time of day I go out and whether I expect to be outside long. I hate the slimy feeling I get from the sunblock, so I often wear a UPF 50 hat, scarf, and gloves over my regular outfit, to good effect. I also have been slowly building up my closet with UPF 50 clothing - dresses, pants, shirts, etc.

I keep joking with my folks about moving to Forks WA, LOL.

My family jokes that I'm turning into a vampire. Argh! The light!!!!!!

BEW- I haven't even thought about wearing gloves. I've found some sunscreen that's not too slimy...Coppertone oil free mousse. It's light and not too oily.
