Anyone experience heavy menstrual bleeding while taking cellcept?

Just curious.

I went to my OB/GYN after posting that. She said I have an enlarged uterus, like I was 12-14 weeks pregnant (which I'm not), and that my uterus or cervix (I can't remember what she said) was pushed to the left.

I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow.  It's probably fibroids or a cyst. 

SILVER LINING!  If it is fibroids, the treatment she was recommending (uterine ablation) will get rid of my periods forever!  Whohoo! NO MORE PERIODS!! It's a relatively minor procedure and at 36 I could say good bye to all this menstrual nonsense!

I'll let you all know how the appointment goes tomorrow. :-)

UPDATE.

It's a dense baseball sized mass, going across the submucosal, intramural, and subserosal layers of the uterus. I go next week for pre-op stuff in preparation for a laproscopic or robotic hysterectomy.

Hey gang,

Surgery is scheduled for 2/22. I can't wait! Right now I have to wear adult diapers when I get my period because I bleed so much. I pass clots as large as a golf balls, and last month I had to change clothes 3 times in one day. The lupus or the lupus meds make me bleed more than regular folks, so they've been checking my RBC counts and I've started iron supplements.

WOW, at 35 I can quit having periods!! No more killer cramps, PMS, embarrassing breakthrough bleeding, etc!

Honestly, my enthusiasm about getting rid of this crap actually outweighs any nervousness I have about the hysterectomy.

I just wanted to clear one little detail up if that's alright. A uterine ablation DOES NOT take away a period altogether. Only in about 10% of cases will periods become "bloodless". You'll still have the symptoms of PMS also, though some people report it being less severe. about 90% of patients having an ablation done experience lighter periods or just have spotting.

Didn't wanna get anyones hopes up and have everyone phoning their Gyn! Lol

I'm having my ablation done on Tuesday because of severe bleeding and clotting. I'd love a pantyliner period! Bloodless would be amazing!!!
