Hello all, im new here. about 5 weeks ago i went to my GP due to having the most horrid fatigue iv ever had in my entire life,along with extremly sore joints and deep muscle pain. I was sent to the lab for a CBC, ANA,& a D-Dimer blood work. My platelets were 115,000 a little low, my ANA was 1:640 positive speckled rim pattern i believe. As well my D-Dimer came back positive. My GP says "Take a 325mg coated asprin each day. I was then sent on my way. 2 wks later i had 2 large red,inflamed red hot knots,one on each calf. I could barely walk with out excruciating pain. I went to the emergancey room as it was after hours and i was in pain as well i was scared. The E.R. doc says,it does not look like clots more like an injury to both calfs in the same area on both legs. I had not injured myself to my knowledge. He ordered a D-Dimer, again it came to be positive. I was sent to ultra sound on one leg. Doc says they are superficial clots not to worry just go home & rest for a day or 2. Again,i was sent on my way. Then 3 days later i noticed those hard red hot knots turned into bruises along with 2 new red hot swollen knots. One on my inner thigh,one on my lower calf. I went back to my GP and she sent me for another ultra sound. This time not even superficial clots were found it all came out clear. I was sent home again with no explanation as what these knots mean or why im getting them. My GP is refering me to a rheumatologist in 3 months. My GP says keep taking an asprin each day & wate for my apt with the specialist. Low platelets, a positive d dimer,myserioous red knots out of no where,fatigue and no energy to function normally and i get to take asprin!!!! HELP WITH SOME ANSWERS IF YOU CAN.
