Ok so here goes,
I have tried Lyrica and it worked for a while, I was on a very high dose. Then after a while like any other medicine your body gets use to it, so it stopped working. I've also been on Lexapro, Cymbalta. Cymbalta also works very well with fibro. As far as my lupus I haven't really been on any meds up until just recently I have been put on Gabapentin 100mg TID (three times a day). I am a medical assistant for a pretty busy primary care doctors office with 3 doctors a nurse practicioner and a PA. As I have learned through out the years it is easier to be busy and work and just ignore the aches and pains, rashes, ect... I try to take multi-vitamins along with some herbals to stay healthy. I recently just lost 50 pounds as this has helped considerably with the high blood pressure and degenerative disc disease. I am only 35 and a huge mess, but my philosophy in life is why let it keep you down, you got to live on. My big way of coping with all of this is of course GOD and praying. It also helps considerably.
