hello healing well im new to this my name is niah and ive hd lupus for 11 years im 30 now and was diagnosed when i was 18 my hair been feel out years ago and i want to know how can i get my hair back if any of you have any questions i would love to answer them thanks you guys i will love to have some new relationships with you. :-)

Some people use the hair replacement formulas you hear about on TV. Sorry I can't remember their names today.

My hair has not fallen out but has thinned a lot. I used to have very thick hair.

Hello Ms Niah Welcome to you, im 18 diagnosed last year at 17 i had an episode of hair loss between july to late october before i started using nioxin shampoo its stopped falling out and new hai growth is growing quite fast i never had completly thick hair but due to the hair loss it has gone increasingly thin. I dont have any bald patches anymore just havent got much hair at the ends. It was bad and as a result i turned to this website which has massively helped apart from my hair looking abit odd i have got used to it and it feels like i dont have lupus.

I have SLE, anemia, low vitamin d, antiphospholipid syndrome and am currently on Omeprazole, Prednisolone, Asprin, Ferrous Sulphate, Plaquenil, Adcal D3 and sometimes Co- Codamol for headaches and mild pain unassociated with lupus.

For the hair loss and growth i havent been using anything apart from nioxin system 4 kit it seemed to stop my hair falling out made new growth form and makes it appear quite thick on the top of my head giving it volume it looks ok but theres not much hair at the bottom where it used to break of anywhere or fall out completly so it also looks odd Lol i dont really no many other products because thats all iv been using and it seemed to help me good ,luck in finding something for it.

I experienced hair loss and researched the best vitamins to combat the problem. Then some one told me that a product named Reloxe included all the safe vitamins etc. that stimulated hair growth. I tried it and they were right! Worked in about 3 months. Reloxe Stopped me from having to buy 10 or more different kinds of vitamins per month. LOL
Prenatal vitamins are densely packed with vitamins and nutrients that aid in hair growth as well as skin and overall health.

Listen girlfriend, I know this sounds silly, but wig shopping can be really, really fun. You can wear whatever hair you want, when you want. I don't know how bad it's falling out. You can shave it or cut it short. I've seen a lot of women dye their hair bleach blond and keep it short. If it's going to fall out, why not dye it a crazy color?

I'm weird though. You don't need to take my advice. But I will say, I'm young and my hair has just started falling out. It's a scary thing, but there are options that make you smile. Think about it: short, green hair! Or a beautiful long wig. There are always options, even growth formulas.

But remember one thing: you are beautiful the way you are, hair or no hair!

I personally love hats! So I've got several hats that I will wear. No one can tell my hair is thinning unless I take off my hat.
Find you some cute hats and scarfs to wear.

I started losing my hair when I was 18, at that time I did not know why, I was not diagnosed with lupus for another 5 or 6 years.  I was misdiagnosed with RA before that.  I have tried Rogaine and nioxin with not much if any results.  I will tell you that I ordered Joan Rivers "Beautiful Hair" two years ago and I will never go without it.  It doesn't grow hair but it does cover the shiny scalp, I love not having to worry about people seeing how thin my hair is.  You can now get it at Walgreens.
