So, as I noted in a previous thread. I have yet to be diagnosed with Lupus. I have my appointment with my 2nd Rhematologist in a week. But, everyday I wake up it feels as if I'm getting sick or already sick. To put it bluntly. Like, after a night of heavy drinking and the morning after you wake up with a hangover, that's the feeling I feel. Does anyone else experience this feeling daily? It's been almost clockwork these past couple months and I'm getting desperate.

That's the "regular" Lupus fatgiue. Make sure to add it to your symptoms list for the rheumy.

After several years, my diagnosis is still UCTD - but I know exactly what you are talking about. I described it as getting the flu, having the flu, or just getting over the flu. Some days feeling slightly better, but generally never rounding the corner to feeling well for long periods. Plaquenil helped. Good luck with your appt. and I hope you feel better soon!

Thank you , Lucy! I will definitely keep y'all posted of what the doctor comes back with. I'm nervous and at the same time, coming at it with a positive attitude no matter the outcome. :)

I understand your being nervous about what your diagnosis will be. I was just diagnosed with "a mild form of lupus" 2 weeks ago. I found that I just felt relief at finally having a diagnosis instead of spending my time speculating and worrying about what could be wrong. I'm glad you are able to have a positive outlook regarding the outcome. Good Luck!

Thanks, LinaJ. Yeah, I think that's how I'm staying so positive. The thought at feeling relief outweighs what the diagnosis is. I've suffered so long, I'm numb now.

Me too. I'm exhausted. I'm now back to rheumy #1. I stopped taking my iron because i just can't spend another year like this. My gp says I'm at risk for congestive heart failure because my iron is so low but i can live with that. It's been 5 years of hell and I'd rather have heart failure than reach December 2014 without the treatment to control this disease.

Sick of being sick! All these flares and "mystery viruses".

It's my heart, my liver, my pain... Like everyone here... horrid news, but now you know and can clearly say this is the symptom and the reason.

This fatigue feels like you have been hit by a truck!

Let's all make a packed... Flares don't last forever! We know we will feel better again. In the meantime, be kind to ourselves, keep a positive mindset and remember we are all healing well!

We must! I just decided that Lupus isn't putting my day, my week or my life together. I am putting my life together, me, and everyday I am going to do the very best I can!

Gabby, I completely agree! With all my current symptoms and new symptoms, I'm remaining positive. It also helps that I have a supportive husband helping get through it. We got this, we'll keep are symptoms at bay. Positivity is contagious....I'll pass it on! :)
