Think this could be malar rash?

First off hi everyone.

I've had health issues for a little over 3 years now (mostly crazy belching, nausea and extreme fatigue), and since just over 1 month I started getting this feeling that my face gets very hot, and my cheeks are now pretty much permanently red. I've been having a stiff, sore jaw too.

Now my symptoms don't really match what little I know about lupus, but the constant "blushing" and its shape had me wondering. My guess would be something along the lines of rosacea, but I was curious to hear from people who might know a bit more.

I've also got these flaky, slightly burning spots on the side of my nose that appeared maybe a week or so around the time I started being blushed.

BTW I'll be seeing my doctor in 2 weeks so we'll see what he thinks and if any testing should be done from there. I'm just curious to discuss this with others.

If anyone is curious I have Raynaud's, slight hypothyroidism, can't eat any grains without being sick for days (negative for celiac).

There's a list of 11 indicators of lupus. You need to meet 4 of them to have lupus.
The list can be found in the first thread.

You will have to wait for the blood tests results and what the doctor says.

well it could be blushed for other reasons as well. my face looks like that and i have positive ana and i was negative for lupus. i have mild raynauds too and my ana was nucleolar for scleroderma. so far they said dont think i have scleroderma but i have arthritis and muscle aches so im gonna have it ruled out by a specialist. have u had raynauds since childhood? i would get the ana test and see what it says. also it could be nothing i mean some ppl just have more color to their face! i got my ana down from 1 160 to 1 80 on a detox diet.

Glad it's not lupus. :-D
