Rash-not sure what is going on

Hi All--HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I think I may be in a flare, but not sure--here are my symptoms: I have a very fine red itchy rash that almost looks like an allergic reaction/contact dermatitis, but really can't attribute it to anything, canker sores in my mouth, and I have been waking up after about 4-5 hours of sleep at night and can't get back to sleep, and of course feel like a zombie during the day!  Some upper extremity muscle soreness and tenderness which I have most of the time.   Any thoughts???? 

Deb, I think your instincs are probably right - it sounds like you are flaring. I agree with omega about calling your rheumy - he/she may want to adjust your meds to help you through your flare. I know for me, the holidays were hard on my body, so I'm flaring too. I really hope you can get some relief soon and that your flare doesn't last long. Hang in there and take care.
