Tash back in hospital

Hi Everyone,

   I just got an email from Tash saying she was going back into the hospital. She didn't give any details other than things are still not right. She did say that she would get Kacy to post a note when she talks to her.

   Just wanted to let everyone know so you can send positive thoughts and prayers out for her.

Oh no ! This winter is sure taking a toll on everyone. Sending thoughts and prayers your way Tash. I hope they get it right this time.
Kacy, look forward to hearing a report from you. Thanks so much for your help and updates

Hey all Sorry I didnt realize I was supposed to make a post.  But I had a hectic day yesturday and didnt get a chance to talk to maree but I will be calling her this evening to see how she is.  I got this email from her yesturday she seems to be doing ok and I think they are just doing some tests on her.  But here is the email she sent with what is going on.  Hope everyone is having a good day,

Hi all

Just a quick update they let me out for a few hours today because its Sunday over here and not much is happening, they are just monitoring my blood pressure and pain and weight.

 

Tommorrow I am booked in for an ultra sound  and on Tuesday a Gastroscopy, he thinks I might have peptic ulcers that is causing the pain or otherwise its my pancreas as my amylase  has risen quite a bit and this could be the lupus attacking yet another organ.  Also my esr has risen from 40 to 98 within a week so not sure and he also  mentioned he might look at changing my medication. I'm not sure when I will be out of hospital hopefully by Wednesday but it is much better in there this time then my last experience.

   Thank you for taking the time to give us an update on Tash. I hope you are doing okay yourself. It sounds like you are busy...((hugs)).  Thank you for calling Tash this evening to check on her.

   Tash, It sounds like you are having a rough time...((Hugs)). I hope they find out whats going on soon and get things turned around. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Everyone:

I just called New Zealand and spoke with Tash in the hospital. She needs our prayers and positive energy. She's very very sick, she's got pancreatitis her stomach and esophagus are all inflamed. Her Rheumy isn't sure whats causing all the problems, he's concerned it's the prednisone she's taking. Tash has been on pred a really long time like 19 years and always feels worse when they cut her pred down. She's never been below 10mg I don't think. She's having serious anxiety over the thought of them taking her pred away.

She's having serious pain with the pancreatitis and is being given as much pain killers as she needs 24/7. She's very very upset and struggling at lot. So please, lets all keep Tash in our thoughts and prayers. I'll be calling her daily to offer encouragement and read out posts to her. So lets keep them coming for her.

We haven't officially "met"...but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
