Hello folks.
My ANA is pos aGAIN, it is 400, and that means it has been positive at least three times in one year the last two times 800.
My GP says this means little as it can fluctuate and its not a specific indicator of much except inflamation.
Considering my crohns is not too bad and I am on detracortril a strong steroid I think the fact it is raised again to 400 cannot be ignored.
She has told me that my inability to remember, info retention etc could be due to depression and I told her depression was my middle name all my life and I have never been so bad with cognitive abilities.
Of the chorea and dystonia the neurologist I saw last says it could be long long use of anti-psychotics.
But I never manifested any of these whilst on em or even five years after stopping them
and what about the muscle wasting and the burning sensations and the red palms of hands etc.
The neuro suggested quinnine and another drug. I have refused.
I told her 'no more drugs until I know what is wrong, I am waiting for London.
What do you folks think of the raised ANA.
Also I saw that Lupus can cause easy bruising and the GP said so can the Questran I am on for the crohns and the diarrea.
But the gastro never mentioned that fact to me at all at all.
