redrose, hopefully the contractions will stop and you'll be able to get some rest tonight in your own bed! Hospital beds, pillows and food leave so much to be desired! You'll be in my prayers.
Robin, I'm one of the lucky ones, it only takes 2 or 3 weeks for my body to start responding to the Plaquenil. I've been on it for over a year and it was a few weeks ago when the rheumy increased it. I seem to be feeling a little better yesterday and today, we'll have to see if I'm starting to pull out of the flare or I just had a couple of mild days.
I'm surprised that I got disability without major organ involvement, maybe they've re-evaluated the requirements and decided that people with Lupus can still be disabled without organ involvement. I'm very grateful that I was approved.

Actually when you have several conditions along with lupus the judges seem to approve you more often- I got this from my rheumy. You definately have multiple issues.
