So things are looking better! Im going down to 7.5 mg of Pred on Tuesday.. wish me luck. I just went down to 10 mg today but since I now have Shingles (which is very painful) I have to go down on my pred faster. Its very frustrating to go through all this at once and in highschool. I havent experienced much joint pain at all latley and Im not as tired anymore which seems to be a very good sign! Hope everyone is doing well, I just wanted to update.

Hi bigsnafer, Glad you like your rheumy. Sorry you have to taper so fast. Singles sounds pretty painful . . . I hope it doesn't last long for you!! Wow . . when the fatigue gets better, you've really improved!! Keep us updated. Blessings!

Hi hun, I'm glad things are better for your today. When you mentoned the shingles and tapper off the steroids I was wondering if the doctor was going to increase or decrease, but I'm glad it's decrease. I hope you don't have any trouble with 7.5.

Hi bigsnafer, bless your heart, I could not imagine dealing with lupus at your age. Do you have a supportive family and friends?? Glad to hear the taper is going well, I hope you continue to improve. Take good care of yourself and keep us updated on how you are doing.
